Matthew Rose
Matthew Rose – Founder / Head Multisport Coach
Matthew is the Founder and Head Multisport Coach of Dynamo Multisport. Several years after a successful collegiate swimming & coaching career, he turned to mutlisport as another competitive outlet. As a management consultant for most of his professional career, Matthew has directly lived the juggling act non-professional athletes engage in to responsibly balance family, work, social and training commitments. Leveraging the endurance coaching knowledge he gained as an athlete and coach, Matthew develops training programs based on the simple premise of maximizing returns on training time investment.
Matthew works with athletes of all abilities and backgrounds. Since starting Dynamo Multisport in the 2009 season, his athletes’ accomplishments have included
- 4 Ironman Hawaii Qualifiers, including two podium finishers at the Ironman World Championships

Prior to his full-time entry into the world of swimming, cycling, running, Matthew served as an assistant swimming coach at Stanford University (women’s program) and later at Arizona State University (men and women’s programs) working primarily with distance athletes while pursuing his graduates studies. At both locations he worked with numerous Olympians, world record-holders and NCAA champions. He was on staff for Stanford’s last NCAA championship team in 1998. After his full-time stints in the swimming world, Matthew serves as a management consultant. Matthew left his position at The North Highland Company to be a full-time endurance sports coach in February of 2009.
Matthew completed his collegiate swimming career at the University of Notre Dame where he served as Team Captain and was elected Most Valuable Performer. Matthew is married and the proud father of a toddler girl. In addition to being a husband and father, Matthew owns ENDURight, LLC, an endurance sports personal training services company that operates Dynamo Multisport.
