DMS NewsLink – November ‘08
We’ve been working hard since the announcement of Dynamo Multisport (DMS) several weeks ago and have been humbled and excited about the feedback we’ve received thus far. We encourage you to keep the feedback coming to help us in our vision to build the premier multisport training community in Atlanta and the Southeast.
Our biggest focal point since that time has been reaching out to potential sponsorship partners for DMS and its USAT club. We’ve received great interest and we’re hoping that over the course of the next 4-6 weeks we will receive commitments and make exciting announcements during that period. If you know of anybody that may be a good fit given our vision and mission, please let us know!
DMS Information Sessions Coming Up
We know that you all probably have more questions about DMS, so we would like to extend an invitation for you to join us for an information session. We will be conducting two sessions over the next two weeks, each providing more information about our ongoing plans for the USAT club, indoor cycling classes and our performance services. The focus of the session will be getting all of your questions answered, so you can get the information you need to help you plan for the 2009 season. Stop in and swim before our Monday session or if you’re an early riser, come to the Wednesday session for some info and workout after. Invite anybody that you think might be interested in DMS – club team, indoor cycling and/or coaching. We look forward to seeing you there! In the meantime, please direct any inquires to Matthew – matthew (at) dynamomultisport.com
All information sessions will take place at our Chamblee location in the upstairs bleachers of the short course pool.
Session 1: Monday 11/10, 8:15 PM
Session 2: Wednesday 11/19, 5:45 AM
Coach Allen Tears Up PCB at IMFL!
DMS’ own Director of Performance Services, Allen Heaton, tore it up at IM-Florida last weekend, setting a new IM-distance PR by 35+ minutes. He PR’ed the swim (shout out to Coach Maria!) as well as set a marathon PR, even after an extended warm-up of a 2.4mile swim and 112 mile bike. If you see him on deck or out in about, make sure you shake that boy’s hand (or rub his head!).
Indoor Cycling Classes Filling Up
We are getting more sign-ups for our Indoor Cycling classes and our excited about all of the interest. If you are interested in registering, we would suggest doing so sooner rather than later. As we get into the holidays and closer to our January 5, 2009 start date, we believe there will be a last rush to get in the classes, so reserve your spot in advance. Speaking of holidays, our Series I CompuTrainer class is a great gift idea to subtly drop to family and friends
Thanks again for all of your feedback. As we approach the heart of the off-season and the holidays, enjoy some R&R, re-charge and get ready for a fantastic 2009.
Yours in Health & Performance,
The DMS Team
